       For starters, our LOW prices. My wife and I are convinced that for sobriety medallions (birthday chips) our prices are as good as any, better than most. There is more to this claim than meets the eye.

       We are able to sell for less because we are a small, home based business with relatively low overhead. Even our e-business is run from a home computer. We don't own a store, do not maintain an outside office or warehouse, and the only (occasionally) paid employees are ourselves.
      That being said we could raise our prices a little and still be competitive. The truth is, we work hard to keep our prices low and we don't do it just to be competitive.

       We are personally motivated. We're both in recovery and have first hand experience in the almost daily struggle self-supporting groups go through just to pay bills. Having served on steering committees we have "been there, done that", and hold a special affinity for A.A. groups (see About Us).

       So we know from our experience that a big expense for many groups is maintaining an adequate supply of birthday chips. While we realize that these "chips" are not a requirement for sobriety we believe they are a symbol of personal accomplishment "one day at a time". Having been there we can hardly deny their significance, especially to the newcomer.
